Simple order steps
Buy Marathon Boosting services and skip the grind on Tau Ceti IV. Bungie's PvPvE extraction shooter is live now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S with full crossplay and cross-save – and every failed extraction wipes your gear.
LevelUpper's Marathon Boost catalog covers runner leveling, faction reputation and upgrade trees, ranked climbing, weapon farming, custom loadouts, titles, mastery skins, and flexible hourly sessions across all three platforms.
What Is Marathon?
Marathon is Bungie's extraction shooter set in 2893 on Tau Ceti IV, an abandoned human colony. You play as a Runner – human consciousness uploaded into a biosynthetic shell – deploying into hostile zones with whatever gear you're willing to risk. Complete faction contracts. Fight UESC security forces and other Runners. Extract alive or lose everything you brought.
Runs last roughly 25 minutes. Solo or crews of up to three. Die before extraction and your weapons, mods, consumables, and backpack contents are gone permanently. Only Runner Level and faction reputation survive death – which is exactly why pushing Runner Level through our leveling service pays off immediately, since that progress can never be lost.
Season 1 launched with three zones – Perimeter, Dire Marsh, and Outpost – plus Cryo Archive arriving later this month as an endgame zone aboard the derelict UESC Marathon ship. Ranked mode also drops in the second half of March with six tiers from Bronze through Pinnacle.
Runner Shells and Builds
Seven shells at launch, each with a distinct kit:
- Destroyer – Tank. Homing missile pods, energy barricade, thruster movement. Our Destroyer shell guide breaks down core loadouts and implant combos.
- Assassin – Stealth infiltrator. Smoke screen, active camouflage. See our Assassin build guide for best tips on stealthy gameplay.
- Recon – Intel tracker. Echo pulse scanning, tracker drone, enemy pinging.
- Vandal – Aggressive mobility. Knockback cannon, double jumps, power slides.
- Triage – Field medic. Ranged revives, healing drone, ally buffing.
- Thief – Loot specialist. Sees loot through walls, steals from enemies.
- Rook – Zero-risk scavenger frame. Drops mid-match with nothing, risks nothing. Great for learning maps and routes – our Rook guide covers how to use it for scouting & scavenging loot.
Every shell equips implants across four slots plus two shell-specific Cores that change how abilities behave – extending missile duration, boosting reload speed in smoke, expanding loot vision range, and dozens of other modifiers. Marathon has a lot of hidden interactions that most players don't discover until deep into a season.
28 weapons span assault rifles, SMGs, precision rifles, shotguns, machine guns, pistols, a railgun, and a sniper across 5 rarity tiers from Standard to Prestige. Losing weapon with prestige mods hurts way more than losing one from Sponsor Kit. Players who want specific weapons at specific rarities without risking dozens of runs can target exactly what they need through our weapon farming service.
Factions and Seasonal Progression
Six factions on Tau Ceti IV each assign contracts and gate seasonal upgrades behind reputation ranks: CyberAcme, NuCaloric, Traxus, MIDA, Arachne, and Sekiguchi. Completing contracts and extracting earns reputation. Each faction's upgrade tree costs credits plus zone-specific materials on top of reaching the right rank.
Every upgrade, every rank, every capstone perk resets when a new season starts. Roughly every 3 months, everyone rebuilds from zero. Most players realistically focus 2–3 factions per season and barely touch the others, leaving half their potential power locked behind walls they didn't have time to climb.
Grinding faction reputation through a boosting service compresses what takes casual players a full season into far fewer sessions – and the earlier you do it, the longer you benefit from compounding upgrades like vault expansions and Armory access.
Why Marathon Players Look for Boosting
- Death wipes everything. Weapons, mods, consumables, backpack loot – gone on failed extraction. One bad fight erases an entire session's work.
- Faction rep resets every season. 25+ ranks per faction, six factions, all starting over roughly every 3 months. Players who grind reputation early get compounding advantages.
- Ranked costs real gear. Holotag purchase plus a loadout meeting the gear ante. Dying in ranked doesn't just lose score – it costs what you wore into the match.
- Zones escalate fast. Perimeter and Dire Marsh are manageable early. Outpost has scan drones, trip wires, and tight vertical fights. Cryo Archive features vaults of escalating difficulty designed for coordinated crews.
- Six factions, one season. Pushing meaningful progress across all six simultaneously takes hundreds of hours. Contract slots per deployment are limited – each run means picking which factions get attention and which ones wait.
LevelUpper Marathon Boosting Services
Runner Leveling
Push your account to any desired Runner Level. Higher levels unlock zones, gear access, and seasonal rewards. Outpost requires Level 12. Season 1 progression opens up significantly at higher Runner Levels – and since level persists through death, every point of progress is permanent value.
Faction Boosting
Reputation grinding, upgrade tree completion, and contract clearing for any or all six factions. Each faction has its own service page covering full node-by-node tree breakdowns with material costs and capstone perks:
- CyberAcme – vault row expansions, credit cap increases, loot speed
- NuCaloric – consumables, shields, self-revive, debuff resistance
- Traxus – weapon mods, Enhanced and Deluxe Armory gun access
- MIDA – grenades, claymores, agility from Flex_Matrix
- Arachne – PvP weapons, melee damage, WTRS Shotgun and Railgun access
- Sekiguchi – cores, implants, ability cooldown reduction
Don't need full tree unlocks? Our Faction Rank Boost focuses purely on reputation grinding to your desired rank through contract completion and efficient extractions. You pick the factions and the ranks – we handle the rest.
Ranked Carry
Climb from any tier through Pinnacle when Season 1 ranked goes live later in March. Six tiers with three subdivisions each, plus score management through Holotag extraction values. We update service details as Bungie locks ranked specifics.
Runner Build
Pick your shell, specify your gear tier, and we farm a complete loadout: weapons, mods, implants, shield, cores, and backpack at your desired rarity. Useful after ranked deaths wipe expensive setups or when starting a season and need to gear up fast. You select the exact build – we don't deliver random loot and call it done.
Weapon Farm
Target specific weapons and mods at your desired rarity tier. All excess loot stays on your account. Need backup copies of a ranked loadout? Stock duplicates so one bad extraction doesn't set you back to Standard gear.
Materials Farm
Zone-specific resource grinding for faction upgrade trees or Armory barter purchases. Common materials like Unstable Gel and Drone Resin for early nodes. Rarer drops – Synapse Cube, Enzyme Replicator, Hazard Capsule – for endgame unlocks from contested zones like Outpost and Cryo Archive.
Credits
Stack credits through efficient high-value extractions. Delivery via quick in-game trade meeting.
Titles and Codex Challenges
Marathon tracks achievements through its Codex system, and completing specific challenge sets earns exclusive titles displayed on your Runner profile.
Profiteer requires accumulating 1 million credits. Archivist demands completing 8 specific challenges. Graverobber and Zonewarden each have their own challenge chains tied to zone mastery and combat milestones. These are long grinds with no shortcuts in normal play – our boosters work through each challenge requirement methodically.
Mastery Skins
Each Runner shell has a mastery skin unlocked through shell-specific challenge completion. Playing enough matches, hitting extraction milestones, and completing combat objectives with a single shell across a season. We farm mastery progress for any shell you choose.
Weapon Skins
Weapon mastery skins unlock per weapon type – assault rifles, machine guns, precision rifles, shotguns, SMGs, pistols, railguns, sniper rifles, and melee weapons each have their own challenge track. Pick the weapon category and we grind out the skin requirements.
Zone Exploration
Each zone – Perimeter, Dire Marsh, and Outpost – contains 100+ lootable containers spread across sub-regions, intel challenges, and hidden objectives. Full zone completion feeds into Codex progress and earns exploration-specific rewards. Useful for players who want zone completion without burning hours on container hunts while risking gear each run.
Our catalog grows as Marathon evolves. New services get added when Bungie ships content updates, and existing ones adjust when mechanics change between seasons. Need something that doesn't fit a listed service? Reach out through support – custom orders are always available.
Why LevelUpper for Marathon
- Order customization: Buy faction reputation and you pick the exact faction, exact ranks, and whether tree nodes get unlocked or just reputation. Order a weapon farm and you specify the exact gun, exact rarity, exact mods. This isn't a generic "boost package" where someone grinds whatever they feel like and you get random progress. Every order matches what you actually need.
- Full transparency through order chat or Discord: After purchase you connect directly with your Runner through order chat. Ask for updates, adjust priorities mid-order, confirm details. No ticket systems, no waiting 24 hours for a response.
- Day-one coverage: Our Runners have been playing Marathon since Server Slam. Full crossplay means no platform restrictions and no waiting for your system to get added.
- A catalog built around real game systems. Competitors published generic Marathon pages months before anyone knew how factions or ranked worked. We built services around confirmed mechanics – faction upgrade trees with every node documented, Holotag-based ranked, shell-specific loadouts, and zone-specific material farming.
- Extraction genre experience: We've been operating in extraction shooters since October 2025. Same high-stakes loop where death costs everything. Our team already knows how to farm efficiently when every run is a gamble.
- 4.9 rating from 1800+ reviews across 20+ games: Not a promise – a track record visible on our site.
FAQ
What is Marathon?
Marathon is Bungie's PvPvE extraction shooter set in 2893 on Tau Ceti IV. You deploy as a Runner into hostile zones, scavenge gear, complete faction contracts, and fight AI enemies and rival players. Extract alive and keep everything. Die and lose it all. Available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for $39.99 standard or $59.99 deluxe.
What is Marathon boosting?
Marathon Boosting is a service where experienced Runners complete in-game objectives on your behalf or alongside you. This covers leveling, faction reputation grinding, ranked climbing, weapon farming, credit acquisition, title challenges, or any time-intensive task. You keep all progress, loot, and rewards earned during the service.
How do Marathon factions work?
Six factions give contracts and gate upgrades behind reputation ranks. You work all six simultaneously – no permanent commitment, no penalties for spreading progress. Each faction has different contract focuses: CyberAcme targets material collection, Arachne wants Runner kills, NuCaloric sends you exploring. Reputation and all unlocked upgrades reset every season, meaning you re-grind from scratch roughly every 3 months.
Does Marathon have ranked?
Ranked mode arrives later in Season 1 with six tiers from Bronze through Pinnacle. Entry requires purchasing a Holotag and meeting a gear ante. Extract enough credit value to rank up – fail to extract and lose points plus the gear you brought in. Bungie will share specifics closer to ranked launch.
Do I lose everything when I die in Marathon?
Everything equipped and carried – weapons, mods, consumables, implants, backpack contents – all gone on failed extraction. Runner Level and faction reputation survive death permanently, but gear does not. Players heading into ranked or endgame content often stock backup weapons through our farming service, so one bad run doesn't wipe their best loadout.
Which Marathon faction should I level first?
CyberAcme is the community consensus pick. Vault row expansions, credit wallet increases, and loot speed improvements benefit every shell and playstyle. NuCaloric is a strong second for backpack access and consumable unlocks. After those two it depends on how you play – Traxus for weapon mods, Arachne for PvP combat power, MIDA for explosives, Sekiguchi for cores and implants.
Can I choose self-play or piloted?
Both available depending on service type. Self-play means you crew up with our Runners and play together – provide your in-game ID in order chat. Piloted means our Runner logs into your account and handles everything. Trade services like credits use in-game delivery instead.
How long do Marathon boosts take?
Depends on service and scope. Faction reputation grinding varies by how many factions and how many ranks you're targeting. Ranked climbing depends on starting tier, desired tier, and queue conditions. We give realistic estimates during checkout and send progress updates through order chat.
When does Cryo Archive unlock?
Cryo Archive opens once the community unlocks orbital access to the UESC Marathon ship – expected in the second half of March. It's an endgame zone with security puzzles, frozen vaults, environmental hazards, and encounters designed for coordinated crews.
Is Marathon boosting safe?
Our boosters focus on manual gameplay only – no bots, no scripts, no automation. Every order is completed by a real player doing real runs. LevelUpper has completed thousands of orders across extraction shooters and competitive games without account issues.
