Details of Marathon Perimeter Map Boost
What Is Perimeter in Marathon?
Perimeter is the first main Marathon map most players learn, but it is not empty filler. I
It hosts five main locations:
- Hauler and Observation room above it
- North Relay
- and South Relay with their storage and DCON terminals
- Overflow where Wraith Warden holds court
- Station with its security office
Threaded through them are four DCON delivery terminals, named locked rooms, red-smoke lockbox rooms, tox hazard rooms, and the Intercept event.
This map is friendlier than Dire Marsh or Outpost, but the moment a crew hears Warden shots, catches the Intercept timer, or sees red smoke over a lockbox roof, any route can turn into a fight.
That is why our Perimeter Carry service is built to be customizable. You can book a simple loot-and-exfil run, or you can add Wraith Warden kill, Intercept completion or a key room.
What You Can Add to Perimeter
Perimeter looks simple at first, but the add-ons change the run a lot. Wraith Warden, Intercept, lockbox rooms, named key rooms, and DCON deliveries do not play the same way.
- Wraith Warden: boss target around Overflow, with shield behavior, invisibility pressure, and strong third-party risk.
- Intercept / Profit Opportunity: panel-code event that ends with a dropship crate you must shoot down before it leaves.
- Lockbox rooms: red smoke / flare rooms where Lockbox Keys open individual boxes.
- Tox rooms: hazard rooms that need the right access item or a riskier workaround.
- DCON deliveries: useful when you want contract progress, not just raw loot.
- Standard loot runs: cleaner extracts through Hauler, Relay areas, Station, and nearby containers.
Perimeter Carry is best when you want map loot, an event clear, a boss kill, or room access.
How Intercept Works on Perimeter
Intercept looks simple until the timer starts. The team finds a panel, reads the three-digit code, matches it at another marked panel, picks up the event keycard, then moves to the terminal that calls the UESC dropships.
After that, the real check begins: the squad has to survive the wait and shoot down the bright yellow supply crate before it is carried away.
The crate can be missed. Other crews can also arrive during the terminal wait because Intercept announces itself through map movement and gunfire.
In a Perimeter Intercept run, the squad has to reach the panels quickly, keep the keycard carrier alive, and leave with the crate instead of dying at the last step.
How to Kill Wraith Warden on Perimeter
Wraith Warden is the Perimeter boss target tied to Overflow.
It is hard for several reasons:
- Fight is loud
- Boss can use invisibility and decoys
- Any team nearby understands that boss shots usually mean loot. Your loot
EMP grenades and high ground help, but the bigger problem is staying alive long enough to finish the boss and extract.
Buy Wraith Warden Kill if you want a focused boss attempt rather than a general Perimeter farm. The run is about killing the boss, clearing the loot it guards around Overflow, and getting back out clean before another crew rotates in.
How Keys and Lockboxes Work on Perimeter
Perimeter has named locked rooms, each opened by its own key:
- North Relay Storage
- Station Security Office
- Overflow Laboratory
- Data Wall Upper Level
- Tunnels Office
- Hauler Observation
These are separate from Clearance Codes, and because a key is a limited resource, support checks current stock before you buy one.
Lockbox rooms work differently. They are marked by red smoke on the roof, and a Lockbox Key opens a single box rather than the whole room, so scouting which box is worth it matters.
Tox rooms add one more layer: yellow gas access usually needs a Hazard Override Card or a riskier workaround to clear safely. Picking the right room before the session beats improvising after deployment.
How Marathon Perimeter Carry Works
- Choose Perimeter and run count: Pick one run for a focused objective or several runs for loot and repeat attempts.
- Choose events you want to be completed: Add Wraith Warden, Intercept, lockbox, tox room, or key room completion.
- Confirm key stock if needed: For key rooms, support confirms whether LU can provide the key or whether you will bring your own.
- Pick self-play or piloted: For self-play, send your in-game name in order chat or Discord so we can squad up. Piloted means our booster plays on your account.
- Enjoy result: Loot, Credits, and completed progress stay on your account after successful exfils.
Why Choose LevelUpper for Perimeter Carry
- Our squad knows every Perimeter route, from Hauler and the Relays to Overflow and Station
- You pick exactly what you want from the run and pay only for that
- We confirm key stock before charging for a locked room
- Loot, Credits, and contract progress stay on your account after every successful exfil
FAQ
What is Perimeter in Marathon?
Perimeter is the first main Marathon map most players learn, covering Hauler, North Relay, South Relay, Overflow, and Station. It is friendlier than Dire Marsh or Outpost, but Wraith Warden, the Intercept event, and red-smoke lockbox rooms still turn it into a real fight.
What is Perimeter Carry?
Perimeter Carry is a customizable carry where our team runs the Perimeter content you pick: Wraith Warden, Intercept, lockbox or named key rooms, or a clean loot run. You set the run count and add-ons, choose self-play or piloted, and keep all loot and progress after each successful exfil.
Can Intercept fail after the terminal step?
Intercept can fail after the terminal step. The yellow supply crate still has to be shot down before it leaves, and your squad still has to survive extraction afterward. That is why Intercept is treated as a timed event objective rather than a normal container route.
Why is Wraith Warden risky on Perimeter?
Wraith Warden is risky because the fight happens around Overflow and creates noise other squads can chase. The boss itself is only one part of the danger. The post-kill extraction can become harder than the fight if another crew rotates in late.
Can you do Warden solo on Perimeter?
Solo Wraith Warden is possible for geared players, but it is much less forgiving. You have to fight the boss, watch for decoys or invisibility pressure, and still survive third-party teams. Self-play with a squad is usually the better choice if you want to be in the fight yourself.
Do lockbox rooms and locked rooms use the same key?
Lockbox rooms use Lockbox Keys, and each key opens one box rather than the entire room. Named locked rooms use physical room keys such as North Relay Storage or Station Security Office. If you buy a locked-room run, support confirms stock or you can provide your own key.
What should I farm on Perimeter?
Buy Wraith Warden if you want the boss kill, Intercept if you want the panel-and-crate event, and key rooms if you already know which room you want opened. If you only need safer loot and extractions, buy a general Perimeter run without boss or event add-ons.
How long does Marathon Perimeter Carry take?
Timing depends on run count, whether you add Wraith Warden or Intercept, and how contested each deployment becomes. A simple loot run is faster than a boss or event run. Support confirms the likely Perimeter plan in order chat instead of promising a fixed completion time.
