• Priority: Moves your Starter Package to the front of our queue. Your session starts faster than standard scheduling, as soon as a Runner becomes available.
• Stream: We provide a private stream of the full leveling and faction run – contract routing, upgrade purchases, and exfil execution. Watch every stage in real time without screen sharing or installs.

What Level 25 Unlock in Marathon?

Runner Level 25 is the hard gate for both of Marathon endgame systems.

• Cryo Archive – the fourth map, the hardest environment in the game – requires Level 25 alongside all 6 faction liaisons and a 5000 credit loadout
• Ranked Mode has the same level gate

Below 25, neither system is accessible regardless of how many runs you've done or how good your gear is.

Getting to 25 takes sustained contract completion across all three planetside maps. Contracts are the main XP source, and the one-active-contract system means dead rerolls and objective routing eat into every session.

What Are Faction Liaisons in Marathon?

Each of the 6 factions – CyberAcme, NuCaloric, Traxus, MIDA, Arachne, and Sekiguchi Genetics – has an intro liaison contract that connects you to the faction. Completing it is what "unlocking a faction" means.

Each faction connection opens that faction's upgrade tree. Upgrades are purchased with credits and materials and carry over permanently. These buffs change what your account can do every time you drop in.

What Upgrades Are Included?

Starter Pack includes essential upgrades from CyberAcme and NuCaloric trees that have the most immediate impact on how the account plays:

CyberAcme – Inventory:

• Expansion – Adds rows to your vault. Default stash fills up fast once you start extracting gear worth keeping. More rows means less forced selling between runs.
• Credit Limit – Raises your credit wallet capacity by 20K. Default cap cuts off credit accumulation from high-value runs. This removes that ceiling.

Additionally you will have more items to buy in the Armory as well as better stats for heat management and more!

NuCaloric – Armory:

• Shields – Unlocks Shield Charge for purchase in the Armory. Shield charges are among the most useful combat consumables for surviving contested extractions and boss fights.
• Patch – Unlocks Patch Kits for purchase. Higher-tier healing than the base Patch Kit, relevant for any run where you're taking sustained damage.

Other faction trees (Traxus, MIDA, Arachne, Sekiguchi) are connected as part of the liaison contracts. Their full tree upgrade are available to progress after Starter Bundle is done.

What Is the State of the Account at Level 25?

At Level 25 with all 6 liaisons connected, your account has:

• Access to Cryo Archive (weekends only, requires 5000 credit loadout value per run)
• Access to Ranked Mode
• All 6 faction upgrade trees open for further investment
• CyberAcme and NuCaloric essential nodes purchased
• Credits and loot extracted across runs
• Codex progress from completed runs

Starter Bundle gets account to the point where all endgame systems and services become available.

Why is Level Grind Slow in Marathon?

Contract system is the main bottleneck. One active contract at a time, rerolls cost credits, and many contracts require specific objectives (scan X, kill Y commander, open Z hatch) that don't line up with efficient run routing. A player who queues solo and gets bad rerolls can spend 30 minutes in a run making minimal XP progress.

Faction liaisons add another layer. Six separate intro contracts across six factions, each with its own objective chain. None of them are difficult, but completing all six while also leveling to 25 is a significant time investment for a new player who's still learning maps.
