What Are Vandal Mastery Skins in Marathon?

Vandal is one of seven Runner shells, built around Disrupt Cannon (tactical) and Amplify (prime). Like every shell, it has two Codex sections:

• Orientation – 20 exfils, 50 Disrupt Cannon uses, 25 Amplify uses. Rewards: Chaos Agent emblem, Amplify background.
• Mastery – Five PvP challenges (Power Slide exfil, Disrupt Cannon multi-hit and launch kills, 20m vertical kill, shotgun after Power Slide). All five → Shadow Index shell style.

In-game these are "styles"; we use "skins" for search. Progress is permanent.

All 5 Vandal Mastery Challenges

1. SAFE! – Power Slide into active exfil zone.
2. BLOOP! – Defeat 3 hostiles with one Disrupt Cannon.
3. PULL! – Defeat a Runner after launching them with Disrupt Cannon.
4. UP HERE! – Defeat a Runner from 20m above.
5. HELLO THERE! – Defeat a Runner with shotgun shortly after Power Slide.

Completing all five triggers the meta challenge WATCH THIS! and awards Shadow Index mastery shell style permanently.

Orientation Challenges

• Vandal Exfil (0/20) – Exfiltrate 20 times using Vandal shell.
• Tactical Vandal (0/50) – Use Disrupt Cannon 50 times across all runs.
• Prime Vandal (0/25) – Use Amplify 25 times across all runs.

Orientation rewards: Chaos Agent emblem and Amplify background.

How to Unlock Vandal Mastery Skin

• SAFE! – Power Slide into an active exfil zone. Map and timing.
• BLOOP! – Three hostiles with one Disrupt Cannon shot. Positioning or catching a grouped fight.
• PULL! – Launch a Runner with Disrupt Cannon, then eliminate them. Follow-up matters and good launch angles make this much easier.
• UP HERE! – Kill from 20m above the target. Vertical spots and high ground; this can take time if lobbies keep collapsing on low ground.
• HELLO THERE! – Shotgun kill shortly after Power Slide. Slide-in range and swap.
