Onslaught Salvation is a new seasonal activity in Destiny 2 Revenant episode. Guardians must defend ADU and defeat enemies in each wave, similar to horde mode. As a regular Onslaught, the seasonal version has changes like new maps, defense options, and enemy types. You and your team need good build and cooperation to complete all 50 waves to kill the final boss.

Onslaught Salvation is happening on three new maps: Widow's Court, Eventide Ruins, and Kell's Grave. Each map has some changes compared to the original state. We also get new Onslaught enemy types, Fanatic Revenant Scorn, Calus Shadow Legion, and Dreads on new maps. They will appear on your waves randomly. To defeat enemies and defend ADU guardians have new defense structures as a part of Onslaught Salvation features: air strike and rideable turret. It will help you to clear each wave.

Onslaught Salvation rewards are similar to regular Onslaught but with some differences. Loot pool now includes all Revenant seasonal weapons and armor. Every 10 wave you get a chest, and after wave 30, you can obtain double perks seasonal weapon with complete masterwork. It's worth farming a new double-fire grenade launcher and aggressive rocket launcher, or if you play something like Bite and Switch, it's worth farming seasonal weapons with an Envious Arsenal perk. Alongside standard loot, you also get different reagents for Eido tonics. One of them is Enriching Flake, which is exclusive to Onslaught. Remember, expert difficulty will get you double rewards!

During the process of expert difficulty at Onslaught Salvation, guardians will face Revenant Barons from a normal game mode but also bane types of enemies. If you don't want to fight with Revenant barons again, you need to break totems or they resurrect themselves and come back to life. Bane buff will randomly buff any enemy mob and give them the power to cast one of 5 skills, such as meteors or shockwaves.
