To unlock reputation farming with The Anglers, your character must be level 90 and have access to Pandaria content in Mists of Pandaria Classic. The Anglers hub is located in the Krasarang Wilds zone. You'll also need basic Fishing skill to complete the daily quests efficiently. Nat Pagle friendship progression requires you to catch and turn in specific rare fish across Pandaria.

The Anglers are a fishing-themed reputation faction in Mists of Pandaria Classic, based out of Angler's Wharf in the southeastern corner of Krasarang Wilds. Led by the legendary Nat Pagle, this laid-back crew of Pandaria's finest anglers offers daily fishing quests, unique rewards, and a second reputation track — a personal friendship with Nat himself. While The Anglers don't directly boost your player power, their utility and cosmetic offerings make them a must-complete for collectors, fishers, and mount hunters alike.

You'll build reputation with The Anglers in classic fashion — through three rotating daily quests, worth 500 rep each. These quests are offered by a pool of seven questgivers, each with two possible tasks. Additional reputation comes from the Dread Wastes quest hub “Soggy's Gamble,” worth over 2,500 rep total. The Grand Commendation of the Anglers doubles your rep gain on all characters once one hits Revered, and rare items like the Hozen Peace Pipe offer bonus rep across multiple factions. By combining dailies, bonus items, and zone quests, you can push toward Exalted in just a few weeks.

The Anglers main reputation levels:

• Neutral → Friendly: 0 – 3,000 rep
• Friendly → Honored: 3,000 – 9,000 rep
• Honored → Revered: 9,000 – 21,000 rep
• Revered → Exalted: 21,000 – 42,000 rep

Nat Pagle Friendship System

Nat's friendship is earned through rare fish turn-ins — one each day of the Mimic Octopus, Flying Tiger Gourami, and Spinefish Alpha. Each fish grants +500 Nat rep and +350 Anglers rep. Reaching Best Friend status with Nat Pagle takes about 30 days of consistent fishing and rewards you with the iconic Nat's Hat, a cosmetic item steeped in WoW fishing lore.

Exalted with The Anglers unlocks one of the most useful mounts in WoW history: the Reins of the Azure Water Strider.
