Even though it's a special weapon, Euphony is doing more damage than cataclysmic. The damage numbers it can output are bigger than almost every legendary heavy LFR.

How many clears are required to get Euphony?

It’s RNG, so it can drop from the first clear the same way it can drop from the 30th clear. But there are ways to increase the chances of it dropping, like doing the raid flawlessly, completing Master Mode, and doing triumphs for specific encounters.

Is it worth using Euphony on anything that isn't Strand Subclass?

It actually goes to a specific class rather than a subclass because on Hunter you can spam threadlings to increase Euphony damage by strafing and creating Threaded Specters. On Warlock you can use swarmers and be the king of DPS.

How many stacks of Spindle are possible to get?

To get maximum damage increase being 50% you would need X25 Spindle.
