How to Start Greasing Her Palms
Greasing Her Palms is a mid-early progression quest given by Celeste. It becomes available after completing A Better Use quest from Tian Wen.
You accept the quest directly from Celeste at the hub. Once it’s active, the objectives can be completed in any order and across separate raids — there is no requirement to finish everything in a single run.
Quest Objectives
After accepting the quest, you will need to complete the following three location-based objectives:

Enter a locked room in Water Treatment Control on Dam Battlegrounds

Scope out rocket thrusters near Rocket Assembly on Spaceport

Enter a barricaded area on floor six of the Space Travel Building on Buried City
Once an objective is completed, progress is saved immediately. You do not need to extract for it to count.
Dam Battlegrounds – Water Treatment Control
This is the only step that involves a quest-critical item.
When you accept the quest, you receive a Dam Surveillance Key. It is single-use and consumed when the door is opened.
Place the key in a safe pocket before entering the raid. If you die with the key outside a safe pocket, it is permanently lost.

Go to Water Treatment Control, near the center of the map

Open the door with the Dam Surveillance Key, or enter if it is already open from a previous interaction. Entering the room completes the objective either way.
Spaceport – Rocket Thrusters
This objective does not require interaction.

Stand near the thrusters for a few seconds until the objective completes. If it does not trigger immediately, reposition slightly and remain nearby.
Deaths or failed extractions here do not affect progress.
Buried City – Space Travel Building, Floor 6
Make sure you enter the Space Travel Building, not the adjacent Research Building. The correct structure is marked with JKV signage.

If the door is already open, entering the area is sufficient. Progress is saved immediately.
