• Loremaster of Midnight: We complete the meta-achievement (all nine zone and Sojourner quest lines across Quel'Thalas). You get the achievement and Finery Funds currency for faction cosmetics.

What Is Renown in WoW?

Renown is reputation system for factions in WoW.

Midnight currently features four factions: Silvermoon Court (Eversong Woods), Amani Tribe (Zul'Aman), Hara'ti (Harandar), and The Singularity (Voidstorm) – each cap at Renown 20.

You need 2500 reputation per rank, so 50000 total per faction. Renown is account-wide and shared across your Warband, so alts benefit from progress.

How to Earn Midnight Renown

• Weekly dungeon: Halduron Brightwing in Silvermoon City gives a quest to clear a dungeon; reward is 1500 rep with the faction of your choice.
• World Quests: During the bonus event, 10 World Quests in Quel'Thalas give 2500 rep (one full rank).
• Zone events: Saltheril's Soiree (Eversong Woods) for Silvermoon Court; Abundance (all Midnight zones) for Amani Tribe; Harandar and Voidstorm events for Hara'ti and The Singularity.
• Other sources: Bountiful Delves (twice per week), lore objects, Inscription contracts.

Saltheril's Soiree uses four noble sub-factions and Runestone quests.

Why Midnight Renown Grind Is Slow

• Weekly cap: Dungeon weekly gives 1500 rep (under one rank). You're gated by reset.
• Faction lock: Saltheril's Soiree locks your Silvermoon sub-faction for the week; switching mid-week costs progress.
• Four zones, four schedules: Each zone has its own events. You have to be in the right place at the right time.
• Total rep: 50000 rep per faction, 200000 for all four. No catch-up; it's a long haul.
• Silvermoon complexity: Four sub-factions (Blood Knights, Farstriders, Magisters, Shades of the Row), Saltheril's Favor tokens, Runestone quests.
• Singularity: Voidstorm zone events are less frequent than Eversong or Zul'Aman.

Solo grinding all four to max takes weeks of consistent play.

Midnight Renown Rewards by Faction

1. Silvermoon Court: Crimson Silvermoon Hawkstrider at Renown 17 (6000 Voidlight Marl), Fiery Dragonhawk at 19 (8000 Voidlight Marl), Life of the Party title at 20. Transmog ensembles (Haven's Elegant Regalia, Haven Dignitary's Trappings, Haven Socialite's Attire), tabard, epaulets, housing decor, profession recipes.
2. Amani Tribe: Amani Blessed Bear at 17, Amani Windcaller at 19. Loa-themed transmog (cloak, tabard, shoulderguards, Crown of the Loa-Speaker), housing decor, crafting recipes.
3. Hara'ti: Fierce Grimlynx at 16, Cerulean Sporeglider at 19. Weapon transmogs (15+ options), Hara'ti Scout's Outfit and Rootwarden's Wear ensembles, housing decor.
4. The Singularity: Ravenous Shredclaw at 17, Voidbound Stormray at 18. Void-themed transmog sets (Gilded Collapsed Star, Darkened Collapsed Star, Nebulous Collapsed Star), housing decor, profession recipes.

All vendor items cost Voidlight Marl, earned from Delves and quest rewards.

Midnight Renown Gear

Each Midnight faction has a Champion-track gear unlock around Renown 9 (Silvermoon Court has a helm), which makes renown gear a nice early slot for fresh 90s and Warband alts.

Think of it as a catch-up piece for alts that sits next to crafted gear, dungeon drops, and world event loot.

Renown is still mainly about vendor unlocks, mounts, transmog, and faction perks. This service gets you ranks and access, not a full gearing path.
