Delves are a cornerstone of the PvE experience in World of Warcraft: The War Within, offering players a chance to delve into challenging content that rewards both skill and strategy. Seasonal challenge shifted from Zekvir's Lair to the new Nemesis, The Underpin, who resides in the Demolition Dome. The seasonal mount updated from the Delver's Dirigible to the Delver's Gob-Trotter, featuring customizable schematics.

Brann Bronzebeard an NPC companion, retained his level from Season 1 but gained a new maximum level cap of 80 and a Tank specialization. Existing Delve mechanics were refined for more variety, and most existing Delves received new variants. New Vignettes and Treasure Powers were added to enhance gameplay diversity, and Bountiful Delves rotation was redesigned to cycle through all Delves before repeating.

Excavation Site 9: Located in The Ringing Deeps, this Delve features goblin excavations uncovering Black Blood and Titan structures. The environment combines industrial elements with ancient Titan architecture, creating diverse combat scenarios.

Sidestreet Sluice: Situated beneath Undermine in The Vatworks, this Delve represents the underbelly of the goblin city. Players navigate through industrial waste systems while facing Darkfuse Goblin forces.

Earthcrawl Mines: Situated in Isle of Dorn, this Delve features Nerubian-themed mechanics. Players must navigate webs and avoid Nerubian Eggs that spawn additional mobs when disturbed. The boss, Web General Ab'enar, uses Nature and Shadow damage attacks.

The Dread Pit: Located in The Ringing Deeps' Chittering Den, this Delve requires players to manage frontal cone Impale attacks from Under-Lord Vik'tis while avoiding Burrowing Tremors.

The Waterworks: Located in The Ringing Deeps, this Delve combines kobold engineering with water-based hazards. The boss, Waxface, utilizes short-range AoE knockbacks with either Fire or Nature (poison) damage.

Fungal Folly: Located in Isle of Dorn's Boskroot Basin, this Delve features fungal-themed mechanics. Players must navigate through sporifying environments while avoiding Sporbits—floating traps that explode when killed. The boss, Spinshroom, uses Fungalstorm, a spinning attack that interrupts and damages players.

Mycomancer Cavern: Situated in Hallowfall's Growling Hollow, this Delve introduces more complex fungal mechanics. The boss, Bogpiper, employs Muck Charge and Sporesong, requiring careful positioning to avoid knockback effects and spell interruptions.

Kriegval's Rest: Found in Isle of Dorn's Mourning Rise, this Delve features kobold-themed mechanics, including atmosphere effects like Smothering Shadows. Players must manage these effects by staying within the radius of special items like candles or totems.

The Sinkhole: Found in Hallowfall's The Hungering Pool, this Delve features underwater mechanics and Aquatic Hex effects. Players must manage their breath using Air Bubbles while navigating the Kobyss-controlled environment.

Tak-Rethan Abyss: Situated in Azj-Kahet's Salien Gutters, this Delve combines Kobyss mechanics with pheromone-based ambush systems. The boss, Undersea Abomination, uses Nature damage attacks and Repelling Blast mechanics.

Nightfall Sanctum: Located in Hallowfall, this Delve features Shadow-based mechanics. Players must avoid large purple pulsing circles that trigger Spotted! bombardments. The boss, Speaker Halven, utilizes Shadow Sweep and Desolate Surge attacks.

Delve system offers a variety of rewards that scale with the difficulty and tier of the Delve. These rewards include Undermine Crests, which come in Weathered, Carved, Runed, and Gilded variants, with higher-tier Delves yielding more valuable versions. Valorstones are used for various upgrades and purchases, while Resonance Crystals serve as currency for purchasing transmogs and other cosmetic items. Undercoin is used for buying Restored Coffer Keys and other services from vendors.

Gear quality scales with Delve tier, capping at 603 Item Level for Tier 8. Higher-tier Delves offer gear with higher stat budgets and better secondary effects. Great Vault integration allows for additional gear upgrades through completing multiple Delves. Seasonal rewards include the Delver's Gob-Trotter, a customizable flying mount with various schematic options, and the Ivory Goliathus Mount, earned through completing Glory of the Delver meta-achievement. Various appearance-changing items and toys are also available as rewards.
