The Throne of the Four Winds is a Tier 11 raid dungeon in World of Warcraft. You can access it by flying in Southern Uldum. It has two bosses: the Conclave of Wind and the elemental Lord of Air, Al'Akir. The loot here was controversial because each item had random stats.

Al'Akir the Windlord's home, the Throne of the Four Winds, is floating high in the sky. With the barriers of the Elemental Plane broken, he can roam freely across Azeroth's winds. He's unleashed powerful storms to destroy Uldum and take over the titan-forged Halls of Origination.

Now that Deathwing's back, Al'Akir is free to explore Azeroth again. He's teamed up with Deathwing and gathered some ancient wind elementals to form the Conclave of the Four Winds, which is planning to invade his old stomping grounds.

Al'Akir's mood is like the sky: sometimes calm, sometimes furious. One thing is for sure: if he’s not stopped, his immense power could shake Azeroth. He won’t let anyone control him again.
