The finale of the Blackrock series is a fresh take on a familiar concept. Blackwing Descent is a Cataclysm Classic raid inspired by Blackwing Lair. You'll battle Nefarian, who's back from the dead thanks to his dad, Deathwing. It picks up where Blackwing Lair left off, with a similar layout but new bosses (except Nefarian, of course).

After Nefarian died in Blackwing Lair, many thought his plans to create new dragons were over. But now, word is that Deathwing brought him back to life to continue his experiments in Blackwing Descent. Word is that these experiments are even more evil than before.

After Nefarian's defeat, he went back to Blackrock Mountain and rebuilt his lair and restored forces. The Vault of the Shadowflame, a pit of fiery magma, is where he runs his new experiments in undeath and magic. Even Nefarian is pleased with his latest success.

Anyone who thinks defeating the Lord of Blackrock will be easy is in for a deadly surprise. Heroic difficulty offers a higher level of challenge in the game, making your WoW Cataclysm Classic journey more fun.
