This risk-reward mechanic adds an element of excitement and strategy to every encounter. He's also equipped with the intrinsic perk "Charged with Blight," which drains the enemy's life force on precision hits and charges a ball of darkness. This ball can be unleashed with an alternate weapon action, temporarily blinding targets and providing a tactical advantage.
