With Midnight Season 2 coming on 11th August, the clock is ticking on many of Season 1's exclusive rewards. While a new season always brings fresh raids, Mythic+ dungeons, PvP rewards, and progression systems, it also marks the end of several achievements, mounts, transmogs, and cosmetics that may never be obtainable again.
Whether you're a collector hunting every mount, a completionist chasing achievements, or simply want to avoid missing limited-time content, now is the perfect time to review your remaining goals before the seasonal reset.
This article covers everything worth prioritizing before Season 2 launches, from exclusive Mythic+ and PvP rewards to raid achievements, Delves, Nemesis encounters, and more. To make things easier, we've also added a simple status system so you can immediately see how urgent each objective is.
Status Badges
Not every Season 1 reward follows the same rules. Some disappear forever when Season 2 begins, while others remain available but become significantly harder to earn. Throughout this guide, you'll see the following badges:
🔴 Gone After Season 1
These rewards are tied directly to Midnight Season 1 and will no longer be obtainable once Season 2 begins.
🟡 Harder to Obtain
These rewards don't disappear completely, but earning them after Season 1 becomes much more difficult. This usually happens because of reduced drop rates, lower player participation, or the content no longer being current.
🟢 Can Be Earned Later
These achievements, mounts, and collectibles remain available after Season 2 launches. There's no immediate rush to complete them, although finishing them now is often easier while the content is still relevant.
Mythic+
Mythic+ offers some of the most prestigious seasonal rewards in Midnight Season 1. From exclusive mounts to regional titles, several of these rewards disappear once Season 2 begins, so now is the time to push your rating if you're close to the next milestone.
Midnight Keystone Master: Season One
Status: 🔴
Reward: Calamitous Carrion mount

Reach 2,000 Mythic+ Rating to earn the Midnight Keystone Master: Season One achievement and the exclusive Calamitous Carrion mount. This mount is only available during Season 1, making it one of the highest-priority rewards if you're still climbing the Mythic+ ladder.
Midnight Keystone Hero: Season One
Status: 🔴
Achieving 2,500 Mythic+ Rating grants Midnight Keystone Hero: Season One. While it doesn't award a mount, it's a great way to show off your Season 1 accomplishments and won't be obtainable after the season ends.
Midnight Keystone Legend: Season One
Status: 🔴
Reward: Convalescent Carrion mount

Players who reach 3,000 Mythic+ Rating earn Midnight Keystone Legend: Season One and the Convalescent Carrion mount. This is one of the rarest seasonal Mythic+ rewards and a worthy goal for players looking to push beyond Keystone Master before the reset.
Midnight Keystone Myth: Season One
Status: 🔴
Reward: Timelost Saddle
Reaching 3,400 Mythic+ Rating awards Midnight Keystone Myth: Season One together with a Timelost Saddle. The saddle can be exchanged for one of several special Timelost mounts, making it one of the most valuable rewards available to high-end Mythic+ players.
Seasonal Regional Titles
Status: 🔴
Reward: The Umbral Hero title and Umbral Champion achievement
The very best Mythic+ players can also earn exclusive regional recognition. Finishing the season within the required regional cutoff awards The Umbral Hero title and the Umbral Champion achievement. These are among the rarest rewards in the game and are only available during the active season.
Mythic+ Dungeon Teleports
Status: 🟢
Reward: Permanent teleport to each dungeon

Completing every Season 1 Mythic+ dungeon at +10 or higher within the timer unlocks a permanent teleport to that dungeon. Unlike the seasonal rating rewards, these teleports remain obtainable after Season 1, but earning them is generally much easier while the current dungeon pool is active and groups are plentiful.
Raids
Season 1 features three full raids alongside Sporefall, the one-boss raid introduced later in the season. While most raid loot remains available after Season 2 begins, several achievements and mounts are either permanently removed or become significantly harder to obtain. If you're planning to finish any raid-related goals, now is the best time to do so while groups are still actively clearing the content.
Ahead of the Curve
Status: 🔴
Reward: Ahead of the Curve achievements
Defeating the final boss of each Season 1 raid on Heroic difficulty before Season 2 launches rewards a unique Ahead of the Curve achievement. These Feats of Strength are only available while the raids are current and cannot be earned once Season 2 begins.
Current Season 1 Ahead of the Curve achievements include:
- Ahead of the Curve: Midnight Falls
- Ahead of the Curve: Crown of the Cosmos
- Ahead of the Curve: Chimaerus, the Undreamt God
Cutting Edge
Status: 🔴
Reward: Cutting Edge achievements
For Mythic raiders, each Season 1 raid also offers its own Cutting Edge achievement for defeating the final boss before the season ends. These achievements are among the rarest PvE accomplishments in World of Warcraft and become permanently unobtainable with the launch of Season 2.
Ashes of Belo'ren
Status: 🟡
Reward: Ashes of Belo'ren mount

The Ashes of Belo'ren mount currently drops from the final boss of Midnight Falls on Mythic difficulty. Once Season 2 begins, Blizzard is expected to reduce its drop chance to approximately 1%, making it considerably more difficult to obtain. If this mount is on your collection list, farming it before the season ends is highly recommended.
Glory of the Midnight Raider
Status: 🟢
Reward: Tenebrous Harrower mount

Completing the Glory of the Midnight Raider meta-achievement rewards the Tenebrous Harrower mount. Unlike Ahead of the Curve or Cutting Edge, this achievement remains available after Season 2 launches. However, organizing achievement runs becomes much easier while Season 1 raids are still relevant and regularly cleared by the community.
Sporefall Rewards
Status: 🟢 Can Be Earned Later
Although Sporefall was added later in Season 1, it is not tied to the seasonal Ahead of the Curve or Cutting Edge achievements. The one-boss raid remains worth completing for its powerful loot, achievements, and collectibles, but there is no seasonal-exclusive Feat of Strength attached to its completion. If you're missing any Sporefall rewards, you'll still be able to return after Season 2 begins.
Delves
Delves remain one of Midnight's most rewarding activities, offering exclusive mounts, pets, achievements, cosmetics, and gear outside of traditional raids and Mythic+. While most Delve content will continue into Season 2, a handful of rewards are tied directly to the current Seasonal Nemesis and should be prioritized before the reset.
Glory of the Midnight Delver
Status: 🟡
Reward: Giganto Manis mount

Completing Glory of the Midnight Delver rewards the Giganto Manis mount by finishing several Delve-related achievements across Midnight. One of its requirements is defeating the Seasonal Nemesis, rather than a specific boss, which suggests the objective updates each season instead of being permanently tied to Nullaeus. Blizzard hasn't officially confirmed this behavior, but the wording indicates the achievement should remain obtainable in future seasons.
Let Me Solo Him: Nullaeus
Status: 🔴
Reward: Arcanovoid Construct mount

One of the most prestigious solo challenges in Midnight Season 1 is defeating Nullaeus, the current Seasonal Nemesis, without any other players in your party. Completing Let Me Solo Him: Nullaeus awards the exclusive Arcanovoid Construct mount. Since each season introduces a new Nemesis encounter, this achievement and its reward are expected to disappear when Season 2 begins.
My Shady Nemesis
Status: 🔴
Reward:
Players looking to complete their pet collection should also earn the Nullaeus Domaneye companion pet by completing the My Shady Nemesis achievement. Like the solo Nemesis mount, this reward is tied specifically to the Season 1 Nemesis and is expected to become unobtainable once the new seasonal boss replaces Nullaeus.
Delver's Journey
Status: 🔴
Reward: Midnight: Journey's End (Season 1) Feat of Strength, seasonal Journey rewards
The Delver's Journey is Midnight's seasonal Delve progression track, rewarding new gameplay unlocks, cosmetics, housing decorations, mounts, toys, and other collectibles as you earn Journey progress through Bountiful Delves. Completing the entire track before Season 2 begins also awards the Midnight: Journey's End (Season 1) Feat of Strength, which is exclusive to the current season. Even if you don't plan to finish every reward, it's worth pushing as far as possible before the track resets for Season 2.
Level Valeera to 60
Status: 🟢 Can Be Earned Later

Your Delve companion Valeera carries her progress into Season 2, making the time between seasons a great opportunity to push her to Level 60 if you haven't already. A fully leveled companion provides better combat support, survivability, and utility during Delves, helping make the early weeks of Season 2 smoother. While there's no deadline to finish this before the new season begins, it's one of the best long-term investments for players who regularly explore Delves.
PvP
Season 1 PvP rewards are among the most exclusive collectibles in Midnight. With Season 2 introducing a brand-new Gladiator mount, Elite armor appearances, and the Vicious Snaplizard, now is your last chance to earn everything unique to Season 1 before it's gone.
Midnight Gladiator's Goredrake
Status: 🔴
Reward: Midnight Gladiator's Goredrake

The Midnight Gladiator's Goredrake is the signature reward for the highest-rated Arena players in Season 1. Like every Gladiator mount, it is permanently retired when the season ends and will never return.
Elite PvP Armor Sets
Status: 🔴
Reward: Class Elite Armor Appearances

Each class has its own exclusive Elite PvP transmog set, earned by reaching the required rating during Season 1. These appearances are only obtainable while the season is active and will be replaced by a completely new collection in Season 2.
Vicious Snaplizard
Status: 🔴
Reward: Vicious Snaplizard

Players who complete the seasonal Vicious Mount progress bar in rated PvP will earn the Vicious Snaplizard. Once Season 2 launches, this reward is replaced by the Vicious Lightbloom Boar, making the Snaplizard unobtainable for players who haven't earned it.
Other Activities
The Curse of Ula'tek Campaign
Status: 🟢 Can Be Earned Later
The Curse of Ula'tek campaign isn't going anywhere when Season 2 launches, but it's still well worth completing before the new season begins. Finishing the storyline unlocks the full narrative leading into Season 2, rewards useful gear and cosmetics along the way, and ensures your character is caught up before continuing the adventure on the Coiled Isle. If you've been putting the campaign off, now is a great time to cross it off your list.
Complete Your Omnium Folio
Status: 🟢 Can Be Earned Later

The Omnium Folio is one of Midnight's long-term progression systems and will remain available throughout the expansion. While there's no deadline to finish it before Season 2, completing additional pages now rewards valuable collectibles, cosmetics, and progression while helping you enter the new season with one less ongoing objective. If you've been neglecting your Folio, the time between seasons is the perfect opportunity to catch up.
Final Thoughts
Midnight Season 2 is just around the corner, bringing a new raid, a refreshed Mythic+ rotation, new Delves, and a fresh set of seasonal rewards. Before moving on, take a few minutes to review your Season 1 progress. You might be only a dungeon, boss kill, or Arena win away from earning a reward that won't be available again.
