ARC Raiders Buried City Residential Master Key — Location and Loot Breakdown

The Buried City Residential Master Key is a single-use key in ARC Raiders.
It unlocks one of three different residential apartment doors across Buried City, letting you choose the location that best fits your spawn, route, and risk tolerance.

Once a door is opened, the key is consumed.

Before anything else:

• Always put the key in your Safe Pocket

• The locked doors are usually marked by red indicator lights

• Close the door after entering if you don’t want to get pushed

• One key opens one door only

How to Get the Buried City Residential Master Key

The Residential Master Key is a random drop.

You can obtain it through normal gameplay by looting:

• residential apartments and interiors

• desks, drawers, cabinets, and storage furniture

• backpacks and containers

• other players

Keys appear more often in amber / orange zones simply because those areas contain more interiors and searchable objects. Over time, most Residential keys enter circulation from dense apartment routes.

There is no guaranteed route or method to force this key to drop.

Night Raids

Because this key is about container volume, Night Raids noticeably improve its consistency. Using a Residential Master Key during a daytime raid is functional, but inefficient.

Where the Residential Master Key Is Used

The Buried City Residential Master Key can be used on three different apartment doors across Buried City.
Each key opens one door only and is consumed on use, so you must choose which location to unlock.

Grandioso Apartments (B2)

This is the most commonly used location.

How to reach the door:

• Go to the Grandioso Apartments in Buried City (grid B2)

• Enter the building from the north side

• Immediately turn left

• Break the window on your right

• Go through the opening and drop down near the zipline

• Continue forward — the locked apartment door is directly ahead and hard to miss

This door opens a large multi-room apartment interior with strong container density.

Main Street Apartments (South Section)

This door is easier to miss if you’re not looking for it.

How to reach the door:

• Go to Main Street, southern section of the map

• Stay on the south side of the street

• Look for an apartment entrance recessed into the building facade

• The locked Residential Master Key door is located directly along the street-facing interior

This apartment is slightly more compact than Grandioso, but still offers multiple rooms and solid loot volume.

Piazza Arbusto (Old Town)

This is the least obvious location and the one most players miss.

How to reach the door:

• Go to Piazza Arbusto, in the Old Town area

• Locate the L-shaped apartment building above the Red Tower

• Enter the south-side alley

• Look for an open window partway down the alley

• Climb through the window

• Once inside, the locked apartment door is immediately on the right

Despite being hidden, this apartment interior is fully comparable in size and loot to the other two locations.

Choosing the Right Door

All three locations provide similar apartment-style interiors, but your choice should depend on:

• your spawn position

• current player traffic

• ARC presence

• whether the area already fits your route

If one location is hot or already looted, the ability to choose another valid door is what makes this key unique.

What the Residential Rooms Contain

Each residential door opens a full apartment interior.

Typical layout:

• multiple rooms

• connected interiors

• natural apartment flow rather than a single loot box

Typical loot includes:

• drawers and cabinets

• bags and storage containers

• crafting materials and components

• consumables and utilities

• valuables and collectibles

• occasional blueprints

Loot is fully RNG-based. There are no guaranteed weapon cases, but the number of containers gives this key reliable baseline value.
