What is a Vicious Saddle?

Vicious Saddle is a special item that can only be obtained after completing the current PvP season mount challenge.

It can only be used to purchase the Vicious Mounts from previous expansions. So, if you didn't complete mount challenge during the current PvP season, you won't be able to purchase it until the next expansion is released.

To obtain a Vicious Saddle, you need to complete the progress bar for the mount challenge again.

When a new season begins, you lose all progress on any Vicious Saddle that you were trying to earn, because there will be a new mount challenge to complete first.

What types of rated PvP battles there are?

There are three types of PvP battles that you can participate in: 2v2 arenas, 3v3 arenas, and 10v10 battlegrounds.

Rating requirement is specific to the PvP mode you have earned it in. For example, if you achieved a 1000 rating in 3v3 Arenas, but remained unranked in Battlegrounds, and then went on to win a Battleground, that battleground win would not count towards your Vicious mount progress.
