To unlock The Underpin challenge in World of Warcraft, you need to progress through delve tiers. "Crush" is a ground-targeted ability where the Underpin jumps and slams the ground, dealing heavy physical damage and stunning players for 4 seconds. "Flamethrower" is a frontal cone fire attack that deals damage over time. "Time Bomb Launcher" launches bombs that explode after 10 seconds, dealing significant damage. "Signal Cronies" summons 3 (Tier 8) or 5 (Tier 11) Cronies, which are add enemies that need to be managed. Lastly, "Divert Energy to Shields" gives the Underpin a shield that will heal him for 25% of his health if not broken quickly.

Defeating The Underpin requires careful positioning and efficient use of abilities. Stay close to the boss to avoid the "Crush" and "Flamethrower" abilities. Use your DPS cooldowns during the "Divert Energy to Shields" phase to quickly break his shield and prevent healing. Kicking "Time Bombs" at Cronies can quickly defeat them, reducing the number of adds you need to manage. Binding the interact key (default 'F') can make kicking bombs easier. Prioritize killing Cronies before focusing on The Underpin to keep the battlefield manageable.

Defeating The Underpin offers several rewarding items and achievements. You can obtain the Golden-Gob Propulsion Rig mount, which is a unique reward for completing the challenge. Additionally, you'll receive Brann's Spare Hat, a cosmetic item. The Pacifist Rig utility curio is also available, providing useful effects during delves. These bombs can be kicked at Cronies to deal significant damage and quickly defeat them. When you approach a bomb, a blue arrow will indicate the direction it will move when kicked. Efficiently kicking bombs into Cronies can help you manage the battlefield more effectively, reducing the number of adds you need to deal with.

For Brann, your delve companion, set him as Damage. Equip combat curios like "Goblomagnetic Bouncing Grenade" or "Mechasaur EZ-Build Kit" for additional utility. Use the "LOOT RAID-R" utility curio for increased damage taken. Ensure Brann is around level 60 or higher to maximize his effectiveness. This build helps you manage adds and deal significant damage to the Underpin during key phases.

Oil spills occur when you interrupt the Underpin's "Divert Energy to Shields" ability. These spills make the ground slippery, affecting your movement. To avoid them, be mindful of your positioning.
