Requirements
To join a Dimensius last-boss carry you need The War Within expansion, an active WoW subscription, a level 80 character, and the Reshii Wraps artifact cloak (it's required to enter and navigate Manaforge Omega).
If you're not 80 yet, see our Leveling Boost; if the cloak isn't unlocked on this character, book our Reshii Wraps Cloak Boost to clear that gate before your run.

Manaforge Last Boss Kill: Dimensius Service
Dimensius, the All-Devouring, is the final encounter of Manaforge Omega in The War Within (Season 3). A single kill lets you roll on the raid's highest item levels for the week and ties into key one-and-done rewards: an omni-token for a tier piece of your choice, the AOTC quest line on Heroic, and the Mythic mount and title. If you want those outcomes without running a full clear, a last-boss carry is the direct route.
Item levels on the final two bosses are fixed per difficulty: Normal 691, Heroic 704, Mythic 717. A one-fight night still advances the Great Vault raid row (unlocks at 2/4/6 kills and scales to your highest raid difficulty that week).
Rewards and loot (how it pays off)
Dimensius can drop chase pieces that matter right away:
- Band of the Shattered Soul (ring)
- All-Devouring Nucleus
- Screams of a Forgotten Sky (trinkets)
- Supermassive Starcrusher (2H mace)
- Ergospheric Cudgel (1H mace)
- Artoshion's Abyssal Stare (plate head)
- Greaves of Shattered Space (mail feet)
- Winged Gamma Handlers (leather hands)
- Stellar Navigation Slacks (cloth legs)
- The Cosmic Hearthstone toy
Your item level depends on the difficulty killed (691/704/717).
The standout drop is Hungering Void Curio. It drops from Dimensius on all difficulties; take it to Acquirer Ba'Theom just outside the instance (K'aresh /way 42.17, 23.36) and buy any class tier slot on the same difficulty you killed. Don't sit on it — if a Curio is in your bags, you can't loot another next time.
Even a single last-boss night counts for the Great Vault: you'll tick the raid objective toward 2/4/6 and raise the pool to the highest raid difficulty you cleared that week. It's an efficient way to seed next Tuesday's choices with end-of-raid pieces.
Heroic kill: AOTC and Royal Voidwing
Heroic last-boss nights exist for two reasons: the AOTC Feat of Strength and the Royal Voidwing. For the duration of Season 3, a Heroic kill guarantees the Mark of the Twilight Oath, and the short hand-in chain ends with the mount. You also roll on 704 ilvl Dimensius drops and add Heroic-grade items to your Great Vault pool. It's the cleanest “one night, one payoff” plan if your team is on Normal or you're gearing alts.
Heroic also gives you a chance at Hungering Void Curio; if it drops, step to Acquirer Ba'Theom and convert it into the set slot you're missing (helm, shoulders, chest, gloves, legs). Doing this immediately after the raid keeps your Curio slot free for a future drop and removes a stubborn gap in your 2- or 4-piece bonuses.
If your goal is “AOTC + mount + tier fix in one night,” Heroic last-boss is the standard play: kill, pick up the quest item, hand in, and convert Curio if it drops.
Mythic Kill: Mount, Title, Cutting Edge Achievement
Mythic Dimensius is the peak Season 3 checklist in a single pull: Unbound Star-Eater mount, Void Vanquisher title, Cutting Edge (while current), and the 717 ilvl end-band. These are the rewards people still transmog or list years later, and they arrive together with one boss.
From a gearing perspective, Mythic Dimensius gives you access to the highest stat budgets in the raid and puts the best trinkets/weapons into your Vault pool for the week. If Hungering Void Curio drops on Mythic and you convert immediately, you walk out with a Myth-track tier piece in the slot you actually want—no token juggling.
Because the reward package is time-limited, planning a dedicated Mythic last-boss night is common even for players who spend most of the season in Heroic or Mythic+. One clean carry locks in the long-term keepsakes and upgrades.
Boss mechanics and Encounter Details
The fight is a three-act cosmic set-piece with ability names right out of a dungeon journal. Key terms you'll hear called are Devour, Excess Mass/Collective Gravity, Reverse Gravity, Shattered Space, and Dark Matter in Phase 1; a Soaring Reshii flight intermission with Astrophysical Jet, Black Hole, and Broken World hazards; then a Phase 2 mini-boss split before the final arena with orbiting Voidstars, Supernova conversions into black holes, and an outer Accretion Disk that tightens after each Devour.
Phase 1: Platform checks. At 100 Energy, Dimensius channels Devour and drags the raid in. Players who looted Excess Mass from the Living Mass adds stack to form Collective Gravity and survive; the rest get eaten. He also throws Reverse Gravity on random players (they float toward him) and spawns two Shattered Space spheres you must stand near to drain before they explode. Dark Matter is a personal-space blast that forces a spread. Tanks manage Fists of the Voidlord hits and Massive Smash knockbacks; everyone else avoids the boss' hitbox
Intermission: Skyriding. Drop Dimensius to 1 HP and he punts the raid into space. Mount up under Soaring Reshii, fly through Xal'atath's waygates to refresh the buff, and dodge Astrophysical Jet beams, Black Holes (yes, instant spaghettification), and Broken World debris. Scoop Stellar Core orbs under each platform—you'll use them in the next phase.
Phase 2: Two platforms, two mini-bosses. Land, kill one mini-boss, fly to the other, and repeat. Both platforms are sliced by walls of Voidwarden adds (Conquerer's Cross); you kill one to pass at the right time. Shared threats include Gamma Burst pushbacks and Extinction (a giant falling asteroid). The minis bring one unique tool each: Mass Ejection (Artoshion's beam) and Stardust Nova (Pargoth's circle). Tanks watch Touch of Oblivion stacks. Fire your banked Stellar Core to chunk them down.
Finale: Stars, black holes, and a timer. On the last platform Dimensius arms the soft-enrage Accretion Disk while eight orbiting Voidstars create safe Gravity Wells. At each 100 Energy he casts Devour again; hide in a star's well to live. After every Devour, a star dies to Supernova and becomes a black hole, shrinking your margin for error. Beat him before the third Devour, or the disk collapses the entire arena.
For mount and achievement context: Blizzard's launch post explicitly ties Royal Voidwing to A Twilight Oath's End from a Heroic (or higher) kill and confirms Unbound Star-Eater as a Mythic-difficulty Dimensius reward. It also lists Mythic: Dimensius, the All-Devouring with the Void Vanquisher title, plus Cutting Edge as the season-limited Mythic Feat.
Why buy your Dimensius kill from LevelUpper
We take you straight to the last boss on the difficulty you want – no pug roulette. You get the kill, a shot at the correct-difficulty loot (691 / 704 / 717), Curio guidance to Acquirer Ba'Theom with exact coordinates, and the difficulty-specific outcomes you came for: AOTC + Royal Voidwing on Heroic or Unbound Star-Eater (and title) on Mythic. Great Vault progress is recorded that week. You focus on the loot window; we handle lockout, roster, and clean execution.
FAQ
What item level gear does Dimensius drop?
For the last-boss, Normal drops around 691, Heroic 704, and Mythic 717. These values are specific to bosses seven and eight in Manaforge Omega and represent the highest item-level bracket for the tier.
Does Hungering Void Curio drop on Normal too?
Curio drops from Dimensius on all raid difficulties. Trade it at Acquirer Ba'Theom near the entrance to receive a tier token of your choice. Remember to turn it in before your next kill; having one in your bags prevents looting another.
Where do I redeem Hungering Void Curio?
At Acquirer Ba'Theom outside Manaforge Omega in K'aresh. Use the map pin or the coordinates provided by Method's guide to reach 42.17, 23.36, then choose your tier token and collect.
How does AOTC Royal Voidwing work?
Killing Dimensius on Heroic or higher drops Mark of the Twilight Oath, starting A Twilight Oath's End. Completing the quest awards Royal Voidwing. This is a limited-window mount tied to the AOTC period, ending when the next raid tier releases.
Is Unbound Star-Eater guaranteed on Mythic?
While the exact drop mechanics can shift between tiers, authoritative sources track Unbound Star-Eater as the Mythic last-boss mount for Dimensius during the active raid tier. Treat Mythic Dimensius as the route to this mount while the tier is current.
Do I need Reshii Wraps to enter the raid?
Reshii Wraps is required to access Manaforge Omega. If you haven't unlocked it through the campaign, do that first (or use our Reshii Wraps Boost) so you can zone in for your Dimensius last-boss carry.
Does a single last-boss kill count for the Great Vault?
Any raid kills add to the raid row; in Season 3 you unlock choices at 2, 4, and 7 bosses. A last-boss kill advances the counter for that week, even without a full clear.
Can Curio be traded?
Curio follows Group Loot rules like other boss drops. Once in your bags, it's soulbound; the flexible part is which tier token you purchase from Ba'Theom after the raid.
What happens after the kill?
We roll and trade any eligible items in-instance, share Curio guidance, and, if Heroic, direct you to complete A Twilight Oath's End for Royal Voidwing. You leave with your items, quest step, and Great Vault progress recorded for reset.
