With the Episode: Revenant refresh, it's now one of the best shotguns available in Destiny 2. Whether aiming to melt Guardians in the Crucible or punch bosses in PvE, this gun can do both—and now it's fully craftable.

In PvP, this weapon is nothing short of elite. With a god roll of Threat Detector and Opening Shot, and paired with Accurized Rounds, you can push the range stat to 92. That makes it one of the best opening duel shotguns available. Add Barrel Shroud and a Handling masterwork for lightning-fast swaps and clean targeting. Even Closing Time is viable here, giving bonus stats when low on ammo—which is often the case in Crucible.

On the PvE side, the Prophet of Doom retains its power as a One-Two Punch shotgun. With Pugilist and One-Two Punch, this shotgun is perfect for Synthoceps-style melee builds.
