About Talos-II Exploration
Talos-II exploration is more than just walking to a marker. The regions have vertical terrain and multi-layered maps, and each area has its own interactions, with environment mechanics changing from one area to another. This is why players can spend hours exploring and still miss a whole layer of collectibles and routes.
The game has multi-layered maps and custom tags, which let you switch between map layers and mark important locations for navigation. You also have tools like Detectors and Compasses to help with exploration, revealing hidden storage crates and Aurylenes that are nearby. In short, getting "100%" completion is about making sure you cover everything systematically and don't miss any hidden or hard-to-reach content.
Core exploration activities we cover
- Route unlocks + traversal coverage: we explore the region using layered-map sweeps to open up key paths and loops, making it faster to farm in the future.
- Hidden storage crates sweep: we clear out crates in the agreed-upon area, which is important because official release notes mention increased Oroberyl rewards from crates, and some crates can be upgraded for bigger payouts.
- Aurylenes collection: we use exploration tools like Detectors and Compasses to find and collect Aurylenes that are easy to miss without a systematic approach.
- Protocol Dataloggers: these are collectibles that unlock as you progress through the main story, and interacting with them gives you AIC Index, which you can use to research factory tech via the AIC Plan. They also get marked on the map after you unlock access.
- Region-specific interactions: some regions have unique mechanics, like using jet drones in Wuling to interact with mechanisms or clear Active Blight. To fully complete an area, you need to interact with these spots.
- Shared Facilities support: player-built facilities like Memo Beacons, Zipline Facilities, and Easy Stashes can help with exploration by saving time. We use these facilities when relevant to keep the run efficient.
How we define “100%” for an order (scope rules)
- Area scope: you choose the region or subregion, or we agree on a clear boundary. "100%" completion applies to that scope.
- Completion checklist: within the scope, we aim to find (1) hidden crates, (2) Aurylenes, (3) available Protocol Dataloggers, (4) route and traversal unlocks, and (5) region-specific interaction points that block full coverage.
- Story gates: some items are locked behind story progression, like Protocol Dataloggers. If your account isn't far enough, we either stop at the highest possible completion for the scope or you approve story progression first.
If you want to get all loot + everything on the map, the fastest way is to do a layered sweep with a fixed checklist. That's exactly what this service is for: reducing misses, detours, and making exploration a controlled process.
FAQ
What counts as “100% map progress”?
Whatever the game tracks for that region and whatever you want included. Most players define it as all chests/caches + all challenges + key POIs/routes.
Do you collect every chest and complete every challenge?
Yes - as long as it's accessible on your account. If something is locked behind story/progression, we'll either stop or progress access if you request it.
Do you need my account login?
Only for Piloted delivery. If you prefer not to share access, choose Self-Play and we'll guide you through the completion route.
Will you spend my currency or pull characters?
No. We don't spend currency, pull banners, or change account settings unless you explicitly ask for it in writing.
Can I watch the boost?
Yes - add the Stream option and we'll run it live via Discord.
Is this done with bots/macros?
No. piloted only. No automation, no cheats, no third-party tools.
