How to Get Graviton Spike

To unlock the Graviton Spike Exotic Hand Cannon, you must complete the post-campaign Exotic quest called “Graviton Through the Ages.” This quest becomes available only after fully completing the Edge of Fate campaign on either difficulty.

The quest begins at the Altar of Relativity vendor on Kepler. From there, you'll follow a multi-step path that includes location triangulation, traversal puzzles, combat encounters, and a final time-gated activity.

Here's a summary of the main steps:

• Speak to Lodi and then The Emeritus in the Caldera hub.
• Use the Rosetta Device to triangulate locations in the Outer Steppes, Gorge, and Exile's Accord. Each area is guarded by a Rosetta Vex Sentry Minotaur and contains an Aionian Command Module.
• After each triangulation, use Matterspark and Matamorph abilities to solve traversal puzzles and find hidden debris piles containing weapon fragments.
• After collecting the first three weapon pieces, return to the NPCs to receive new steps.
• Farm 100 Vex Data Fragments by defeating Vex near Caldera and completing a local mini-event.
• Find and retrieve the final weapon fragment in a puzzle-heavy zone using a Relocator Cannon and teleportation mechanics.
• Finally, complete the matchmade activity The Sieve, which appears periodically on the Kepler map.

Once The Sieve is completed, Graviton Spike is awarded. You'll also receive a Deepsight version, allowing you to extract its pattern and fully unlock it for crafting at The Enclave.

Graviton Spike Catalyst

As of now, Graviton Spike does not have a Catalyst in Destiny 2. There is no official confirmation from Bungie regarding if or when a Catalyst will be added in the future. Players can still extract its crafting pattern through Deepsight and shape custom versions at The Enclave, but Catalyst functionality is currently unavailable.
