Arknights: Endfield Last Rite Character Build & Analysis

Last Rite is a 6★ Striker in Arknights Endfield built for one job: deleting a single target with stacked Cryo pressure. Her damage comes from a rigid burst sequence — stack Cryo Infliction, convert it into Solidification, then cash those stacks out through Winter’s Devourer and Vigil Services. When the setup is online, her single-target output is brutal. When the setup breaks, the whole rotation slows down.

If you are comparing Last Rite to other operators or trying to understand where she stands in the broader meta, this article is written to slot directly into our Arknights Endfield Tier List, where all characters are evaluated under the same conditions and assumptions.

Analysis & Verdict

Last Rite is a pure “stack → cash out” DPS. The kit tells you exactly what she wants: Winter’s Devourer only turns on at 3 stacks of Cryo Infliction, and when it triggers it consumes those stacks for damage and Ultimate Energy. That means her burst is not something you freestyle — it’s something you build on purpose.

Esoteric Legacy of Seš’qa is the engine that keeps that purpose consistent. It buffs the controlled operator’s next Final Strike into a Mirage follow-up that applies Cryo Infliction. In practice, this is how you keep stacking without breaking your flow: you press the battle skill, you take the Final Strike, you get extra hits and extra stacks. If you skip this step, you slow your entire timeline down.

Winter’s Devourer is the first checkpoint. If the enemy isn’t at 3 stacks, you do not get to press it. And if you do press it, you consume the stacks — which means you’re immediately back to “build again.” That’s why her teams always look the same: someone has to feed stacks fast, someone has to keep the target stable, and Last Rite sits on top of that pipeline and converts it into damage.

Vigil Services is the payoff window. It’s three massive Cryo slashes while she’s immune to damage, but the important line is the last one: she only gains Ultimate Energy from her own battle skill and combo skill. You can’t brute-force her recharge with random external hits. You have to keep doing the Last Rite steps, in the Last Rite order.

That rigidity is the trade. In single-target fights where the enemy stays present long enough for stacking to happen, she’s one of the hardest hitters in the game. In early-to-mid progression where you’re clearing small packs, target lock-on is messy, and enemies evaporate before stacks stabilize, she feels worse than she “should” — not because her numbers are low, but because her requirements keep getting interrupted.

Verdict: Last Rite is a top-tier single-target Cryo DPS with a fixed rotation. If you can guarantee fast stacking and a stable target, she delivers. If the fight doesn’t allow setup, she doesn’t improvise — she waits for the next chance to do the sequence correctly.
