Arknights: Endfield Gilberta Character Build & Analysis

Gilberta is a 6★ Support in Arknights Endfield built around gravity control: she pulls enemies together, keeps them in place with Lift, and then taxes them with Nature Infliction plus Arts Susceptibility. If your roster needs Grouping that also scales damage windows, she’s the operator that turns “spread out chaos” into “one clean burst.”

If you are comparing Gilberta to other operators or trying to understand where she stands in the broader meta, this article is written to slot directly into our Arknights Endfield Tier List, where all characters are evaluated under the same conditions and assumptions.

Skills

Basic Attack — Arcane Staff: Beam Cohesion Arts

  • Up to 4 attack sequences dealing Nature DMG

  • Final Strike deals 16 Stagger when Gilberta is the controlled operator

  • Mid-air basic attacks become Dive Attacks, dealing Nature DMG in an area

  • Attacking a Staggered enemy triggers a Finisher, dealing heavy Nature DMG and restoring SP

Battle Skill — Arcane Staff: Gravity Mode

  • Channels to create a gravity well that pulls in nearby enemies and deals Nature DMG

  • When channeling ends, the gravity well implodes to deal Nature DMG and apply Nature Infliction in the area

Combo Skill — Arcane Staff: Matrix Displacement

Trigger

  • When an Arts Reaction is applied to an enemy

Effect

  • Creates a gravity pull that deals Nature DMG

  • Forcibly Lifts the target and nearby enemies

Ultimate — Arcane Staff: Gravity Field

  • Creates an Anomalous Gravity Field that instantly deals 1 hit of Nature DMG and applies Nature Infliction

  • Targets in the field also suffer Slow and Arts Susceptibility

  • Arts Susceptibility is further increased based on the number of active Vulnerability stacks on the target

  • If a target in the field is Lifted, the Lifted status persists until the field wears off

Talents

Messenger’s Song

  • Promotion I: All allied Guards, Casters, and Supporters gain Ultimate Gain Efficiency +4%

  • Promotion II: Ultimate Gain Efficiency becomes +7%

Late Reply

  • Promotion II: Gravity Mode and Matrix Displacement improved — hitting at least 2 enemies with the combo skill or the last sequence of the battle skill restores HP to the controlled operator by [72 + Intellect×0.60]. If controlled operator is at max HP, heals the teammate with the lowest % HP.

  • Promotion III: HP restored becomes [108 + Intellect×0.90]. Same targeting rule.

Potentials

  • Potential I: Gravity Mode improved — effect radius +20%

  • Potential II: Gravity Field improved — each Vulnerable stack multiplies Arts Susceptibility; target is treated as having 1 additional Vulnerable stack (maximum 4 stacks)

  • Potential III: Messenger’s Song improved — Ultimate Gain Efficiency +5%

  • Potential IV: Gravity Field improved — Ultimate Energy cost −15%

  • Potential V: Matrix Displacement improved — cooldown −2s; DMG multiplier 1.3×

Analysis & Verdict

Gilberta’s value shows up the moment a fight stops being “one enemy in front of you.” Gravity Mode pulls targets together and then detonates into Nature damage plus Nature Infliction. That’s already two jobs done: Grouping for better AoE efficiency, and Infliction for teams that want reactions or element pressure.

Matrix Displacement is the fast version of that idea. The trigger is an Arts Reaction, and the output is a quick pull that also forcibly Lifts. That matters because Lift is not just crowd control here — it’s positioning control. If your team has a burst window and enemies keep drifting out of it, Gilberta turns “drifting” into “stay right there.”

Gravity Field is where she stops being only a QoL grouper and becomes a scaling support. The field applies Arts Susceptibility and then scales that Susceptibility based on Vulnerability stacks. That interaction is the awkward part: Vulnerability is usually generated and consumed by Physical teams, while Arts Susceptibility primarily benefits Arts/element damage. So the strongest version of her ultimate happens when you can reliably stack Vulnerability and still care about Arts damage — which is why some comps feel perfect with her and others treat that scaling as “nice, but not the core reason she’s here.”

That said, the early-to-mid game reality is simple: Grouping is king for farming, exploration combat, and any encounter with multiple targets. Gilberta makes those fights shorter and cleaner. Later on, if you can feed her Vulnerability stacks (or time her windows around them), Gravity Field becomes a real damage amplifier instead of just control.

Verdict: Gilberta is a hybrid utility support whose baseline value is Grouping + Lift control, with extra payoff through Arts Susceptibility windows. Even if you ignore the Vulnerability scaling entirely, she still makes the game feel smoother — and that is often the difference between “this farm is annoying” and “this farm is done.”

Don’t Want to Level and Promote Gilberta Yourself?

Gilberta scales with Promotions and Potentials, especially for wider Gravity coverage, stronger Arts Susceptibility windows, and smoother cooldown pacing. Building her alongside multiple operators can slow down overall progression.

If you would rather skip the grind, we offer Arknights Endfield boosting services covering leveling, promotions, and material farming, so you can start using Gilberta at her intended power level instead of waiting for it.
