Analysis & Verdict
Antal’s value is immediate the moment Focus is applied. Once a target is marked, that enemy is affected by Electric Susceptibility and Heat Susceptibility for as long as Focus remains active. There is no ramp step and no stack threshold that needs to be reached first.
The limitation is simple: Focus is single-target. If the fight stays on one boss or one priority enemy, this is not a drawback. If targets rotate constantly, Antal has to move Focus repeatedly, and every switch resets which enemy is getting full value.
EMP Test Site builds on the same system. It only triggers when the Focused enemy suffers a Physical Status or an Arts Infliction. In a coordinated team where those effects are applied regularly to the same target, the extra stack application is consistent. In fights where statuses are spread across multiple enemies or the Focus target changes often, the trigger becomes less reliable because the condition is no longer happening on the same enemy on schedule.
Overclocked Moment is the most straightforward part of his kit. The teamwide Electric Amp and Heat Amp apply regardless of which enemy is currently Focused. This means Antal still provides visible value during burst windows even when Focus uptime is imperfect.
His sustain is not emergency healing. Improviser restores HP only when an Amped teammate deals Skill DMG, and it is limited to once every 30 seconds per operator. Subconscious Act is a 30% chance-based layer tied to Physical damage immunity and self-healing. These effects smooth chip damage over time. They do not reliably save mistakes on demand.
Antal performs best in single-target encounters and structured rotations where the team commits to one enemy and keeps applying statuses into that target. In multi-target pressure or constant target switching, his core strength is still present, but it becomes harder to keep all of his conditions aligned on the same target for long enough to matter.

Don’t Want to Level and Promote Antal Yourself?
Antal scales heavily with Promotions and Potentials, especially for Ultimate uptime and long-duration debuff coverage. Building him alongside multiple operators can slow overall progression.
If you would rather skip the grind, we offer Arknights Endfield boosting services covering leveling, promotions, and material farming, so you can deploy Antal at his intended power level without waiting for it.
